Styled Shoot with Danielle Capito Photography and Twiggs Floral Studio

Danielle Capito and I have been trying to work together for months and finally got the chance a couple of weeks ago. Twiggs Floral Studio, one of my favorite local vendors, styled the entire shoot and featured their beautiful head wreaths for a “free people meets kate moss look”. Our Victoria Settee is available for rent along with our other items! Thank you Danielle and Addison!

Kristy + Brett: Engagements by Kelly Boitano Photography

Two of my greatest friends, Brett and Kristy, are getting this married this summer in Napa. I have known Brett since I was in preschool and consider him to be family. When he introduced me to Kristy I had no idea we would grow to be the very best of friends. I now get to be a bridesmaid in their wedding AND loan them awesome vintage stuff to help make Kristy’s vision come to life. Kelly Boitano did an amazing job on these fun engagements and we can’t wait to see the wedding photos!

Brett and I were so excited to be able to use the fabulous Penelope settee from A Peach and A Pear Rentals in our engagements pictures! Our photographer, Kelly Boitano had the idea of using it by the Golden Gate Bridge, and it couldn’t have turned out any better. The weather was beautiful. We had to hike up all the way to the top with the chair to get the best view of the Bridge. As we finally reached the top, we found the PERFECT place to set it up. The view was breathtaking. We took lots of pictures, everyone was staring at us, as if we were famous or something. I couldn’t stop laughing, which probably didn’t make for the best pictures. haha. Kelly wanted to take more pictures in a different stop, so we left the chair for a few minutes. As we looked back after about 5 minutes, we all couldn’t believe what we saw. There was a line of about 10 people waiting to take pictures on what they thought was a “Famous” green chair. They all were taking pictures, smiling & enjoying their tourist moment. Hands down, probably one of the most funniest things i’ve ever seen. We let them do there thing for a while, because we didn’t want to rain on their parade. As we walked back to the chair, Kelly ask, “Can we please steal our chair back?” and they looked so confused and giggled as they walked away. Brett lifted the green chair over his head, and we headed back down to the car. All the tourist were still laughing and staring at us in confusion. It was something we will never forget, and gave us all a good laugh to end the day. Thanks to Peach & A Pear Rentals for their adorable green chair. It made for a perfect ending to a perfect day, and of course for fabulous pictures.

Treasure Island Flea

Two weekends ago we sold at the Treasure Island Flea market. It was worth the price of admission just to enjoy the spectacular view of the city. This was our first time selling so we were kind of nervous but ended up having an amazing time! If you haven’t been, please do so the next time it rolls around (the website says the dates are to be announced). We still have many handmade and vintage items if you are looking for a gift!

This Sunday we will be at The Sacramento Antique Faire!

Let’s Build a Fort!

Building forts are fun. And they make a pretty amazing backdrop for a photo shoot. Lia from I Love That Glove photography is one talented lady.

Thank you Kristy and Brett (who are getting married in June) and Perri and Emily (who are not getting married)! If you need a creative backdrop for a photo shoot, e-mail us!!
